This is Esra Yildirim’s personal job application website. This notice explains which data is processed when you visit it and why.

Hosting and server data
The website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in an EU data centre (Helsinki, Finland). The server is operated on behalf of Esra Yildirim by an IT service provider as a processor. When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time of access and the page requested in order to deliver the website and protect it against misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Fonts are served by this website itself; Google Fonts and other external font services are not used. Apart from audience measurement via stats.relard.dev, no content is loaded from other addresses. Messages from the contact form are sent to n8n.relard.dev on the same server.
Audience measurement with Umami
To understand whether and how the application documents are used, this website uses Umami, an open-source analytics tool. It runs at stats.relard.dev on the same server as this website and sets no cookies. IP addresses are not stored. For each visit, the following is recorded in pseudonymised form: the page viewed including link parameters (for example an identifier for the position whose application link you used), referring page, page title, time, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, approximate location (country, region, city) and clicks, for example on the CV download. Visits are grouped using a hashed identifier that is derived from technical characteristics and changes monthly. The data is not shared with third parties and is deleted no later than 12 months after collection. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, no measurement takes place.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, your name, email address, company (optional) and message are transmitted, together with the language of the page and, where applicable, the identifier from the application link. This information is used solely to reply to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The message is received by the automation software n8n at n8n.relard.dev, which runs on the same server as this site and is operated by the same IT service provider as a processor. n8n does not store the content; it forwards it to Esra Yildirim by email. The email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) is used for sending; the transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. To prevent abuse, a non-reversible hash of your IP address and the time of the request are kept for no longer than one hour to limit the number of requests. The email is deleted from Esra Yildirim’s mailbox at Microsoft (Outlook.com) once your enquiry has been dealt with.
Contact by email
If you send an email, the information you provide is used to reply to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The mailbox is hosted by Microsoft (Outlook.com).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and the right to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. An informal email to esrayildirim1@outlook.de is sufficient.
